what is a substitute for a car battery in home powering?

i am 14 yrs old and i have built a great wind turbine that generates enough electricity for our house but my mom wont let me have a car battery to store it in because they are messy and dangerous, is there any other way to store the electricity with enough volts and amps?

A UPS gel cell battery would be better. They don’t leak acid like a car battery can. But they cost more.
