how do i make my wind turbine spin for electricity?
i was planning on buying a wind turbine because the solar panels are way too expensive. around my area there isnt much wind so i was thinking if i get a wind turbine then i can some how attach a fan motor to it and let it spin the wind turbine. will this work?
the fan engine is about 50 watts while the wind turbine will be producing about 1.5kw
Yes, but it will use up more electricity than it generates. You’re better off not doing it.
If you could somehow produce all wire involved in your entire system (including the things you want to power from the wind turbine) out of a perfect room temperature superconductor, your idea would produce exactly the same amount of electricity as you put in. But since nobody has come up with a viable source of Unobtainium yet, no such superconductor yet exists. So doing what you describe would consume more electricity than it generated, because (among many other things) transmitting electricity over wires consumes some due to resistance.
