Therapies
Animals deserve
wellness, too...
We
are honored and excited to extend our energy
balancing treatments to your "best friend".
Animals,
like their people, often suffer from stress and tension,
resulting in pain, anxiety or fatigue.
Reiki can
support your animal by helping them stay comfortable and relaxed
or by assisting in rehabilitation and healing from a stressful
event, injury
or trauma.
Certified Reiki practitioners, our therapists focus on your pet's
areas of tension or injury or just make them feel loved and
appreciated. Don't they do their best to make you feel
that way every day?
When you ask your dog to "heal", we can help!!
Please NOTE: Due to
popular demand, our pet practice is currently limited to dogs & horses.
CANINE
or EQUINE REIKI
30 min.
$40/45 min. $50
Animals are extremely sensitive to bioenergy rebalancing and
quickly assimilate the benefits. Since they are
sensitive to variations in energy, many situational factors in
your animal's environment can cause unintentional stress (change
in diet, recent move, new sibling, death of a sibling,
neutering/spaying, etc.).
Reiki therapy is an excellent
modality to gently, yet profoundly, support your
animal friend when faced with physical, emotional
or
behavioral issues.
Increase your dog or horse's vitality, well-being
and optimize their health on all levels.
Please Note: first visit will consist of
consultation, intake form, assessment, and
introductory Reiki session.

Are there
contraindications for Canine Reiki? Your vet
rules!
Reiki is intended to be
supportive care...and not to take the place of your vet's care.
We have encountered no contraindications for Reiki.
Are your services limited to certain
breeds of dogs?
We extend our
services to all dogs no matter what breed or
size. Basic Reiki remains
the same, however, positioning and approach do
vary with each animal. Besides genetic
predisposition, we've found that each dog has a life experience
that begins at
birth that contributes to the dog's current
disposition.
Similar to human
nature, exposure to positive experiences
generally results in appropriate socialization,
while exposure to teasing, abuse or negligence,
often results in a behavior that may be
"unacceptable" or "unsocialized".
In short, we
will try to work with any dog, unless the
therapist senses that the dog is
potentially unsafe, at that time. We do
require that a waiver be signed prior to any
service.
How can
you tell if my dog or horse is enjoying their
treatment?
When an animal
is enjoying an energy session and is
receiving benefits, they will show signs of
relaxation such as yawning or stretching.
Some will lower their heads and begin to lick
their fur.
Their eyes will let both the therapist and the
owner know that they are enjoying it. Some
animals may fall asleep. It is encouraged
to allow for a rest period after the service,
however, they can drink water or walk around
immediately afterward.

Please
note that Bioenergy Associates does not prescribe
or diagnose, nor is bioenergetic rebalancing or
Reiki ever to be considered a substitute for
veterinary care. Our services are a
"supplement" to qualified professional care ~ they
do not guarantee a "cure". The use of the
term "heal" or "healing" refers to assisting the
recipient to a state of their "highest good". Please contact your
health care provider if you have
questions about whether your pet can get a session.
