How much copper, indium, gallium and diselenide is used in making thin solar panels?
Are we likely to miss all this stuff in the short term?
No we are not likely to run out of them especially for this purpose. By semiconductors, like solar cells, only a tiny tiny amounts of dopants are used .– the order of several grams per kilogram of Silicon is used. Looking at another way, a single atom of dopant is present in every ten thousand of silicon atoms in the crystal structure.
