is there any wind turbine(generator) whose diameter is near about 1 meter?

i want to know if there is a very small wind turbine generator whose diameter is near about 1 meter.
if yes then please tell me if 1m cube air passes through it at 10 meters per second , then how much electricity will be generated by the turbine.

Hey Sumit, the Southwest Windpower Air 403 has a rotor diameter of 46 inches, or just over 1 meter. There are other units in its size class, mostly built in Europe. At 10 meters per second, or about 33 feet per second, you would have a sustained wind speed of just over 20 mph. That would equate to about 70% output on the Air 403, or around 280 watts (.28 kw). If the wind continued at that speed all day, 24 hours, it would generate 7.5 kwh of energy.

We had one of those units at our place running for 2 years. It worked, but one of our complaints was its low wind speed power output. The larger units make better use of variable wind speeds, since the larger rotor acts like its own fly wheel. Today we have an H-40, made by the same company, which has a rotor diameter of about 2.2 meters, and on a windy day, it can generate between 500 and 1000 watts, which is just enough to run our entire home, as long as the wind keeps blowing. I don’t know why information like this might be urgent, unless you have a school project due in the morning, but check out their own website for data like cut in wind speed and so forth.
