Why not set up solar farms and wind turbines in the Middle East?
Just like with our oil companies going in to the Middle East over 60 years ago…..if we were to set up solar farms and wind turbine farms in that region, they could make more energy wealth that would last another century or until a miracle energy source comes out through technology. There are no clouds in many areas of the Middle East for several months, and there is almost always wind along the coast, with no liberals to complain about how it spoils the coastal view. Once they figure this out, they will be the energy barons of the 21st and 22nd centuries.
well we do it for some of those guys
I was in CJTF HOA setting up solar panels in Djibouti
however it is very expensive and does require maintenance and some of the kids were throwing rocks at a panel !
Its like giving someone a brand new truck ~
its nice but without maintenance it will break down
your smart with this question there is a big debate on how much our soft power can help the mid east and Africa
but i think we should not spend to much money on giving countries handouts
its like international welfare
